The tags provide customers with a new way to filter search results by looking for dispensaries that are owned by underrepresented groups such as, women, LGBTQ, minorities or veterans.
Currently, it’s not just time-consuming, but also complicated for shoppers to parse out who exactly is involved in the ownership of certain dispensaries. The Ownership Tags easily allow customers to support underrepresented groups while making a cannabis purchase. Dispensaries in Jane’s system can choose to tag their store(s) with one or more of the ownership tags – BIPOC, LGBTQ, Woman or Veteran. When shopping on Jane, shoppers can use the filters at the start of their search or find specific products at stores they wish to support.
