Former Credit Suisse and Bear Stearns Investment Banker Joins Viridian Capital’s M&A Group

New YorkViridian Capital Advisors is pleased to announce that Mr. David Kelman has joined Viridian as an investment banker where he will help to lead and to execute buy- and sell-side assignments in the firms growing M&A practice.

David has two decades of experience as an investment banker, entrepreneur, wealth manager, and private equity professional. He managed over 25 M&A transactions totaling more than $10 billion at several investment banking firms including Credit Suisse, Bear Stearns, and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ). While at Credit Suisse and DLJ, David led the firm’s distressed M&A efforts; At Bear Stearns, he worked in the healthcare banking group.

David also worked in private equity, providing transaction support for public and private company buyouts. Most recently, he oversaw strategic transactions for a Colorado-based cannabis company with multi-state operations in cultivation, production, and distribution.

David received his MBA from Columbia Business School where he was on the Dean’s List and taught corporate finance (valuation, modeling) to first-year MBAs. He completed his undergraduate work at Babson College, where he graduated with a B.S., cum laude, in finance.
