CBOutlook Conference Coming to Denver

DENVER — More than 32 global CBD experts will gather to present timely updates on the state of cannabinoidiol business, tech and policy at the 6th annual CBOutLook conference, set for August 14-15 at the University of Denver. Newsmakers Brian Furnish, Bruce Linton and Mark Bolton will participate on key presentations.

Kentucky hemp pioneer Brian Furnish is widely credited with writing the 2014 and 2018 US Farm Bill, championed by his home state hemp advocate Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY). McConnell introduced Furnish at the Senate Agriculture committee last month, as it considered testimony from representatives of the Food & Drug Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Also speaking from USDA, will be Bill Richmond, who is a key planner for USDA hemp rules expected to be released this fall.
