The torch continues to burn brightly for the Four-Twenty Games. The popular canna competition just made a recent stop at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park and treated those who turned out to a full day of fun activities.

Despite what some may think, the Four-Twenty Games is not a silly series of “stoner” activities. Rather, it is a 4.20-mile run (though contestants are free to walk, skate, or bicycle through the course). The event’s organizers want to show that cannabis users are not just lazy slackers. Cannabis users come from all walks life and many are very fit and active. The Four-Twenty Games puts this idea on display and goes a long way toward shattering cannabis stereotypes.

After the run, attendees were treated to many other activities including musical performances. There was even a tasting for Lagunitas’ new “Supercritical Ale,” a unique beer brewed with cannabis terpenes for taste and aroma. Educational forums and comedy performances were also a part of the day’s events.

The Four-Twenty Games is making stops across the country. If you are looking for a fun day of exercise, education, and fun with the welcoming cannabis community, then take a look at their upcoming events.
