Bloom Farms presents the Los Angeles Cannabis Career & Job Fair on Sunday, March 19, at 913 Highland Avenue in Hollywood, from 12-4 p.m.
Cannabis product companies and other related businesses will be in attendance, as well as nearly 1,000 job seekers, eager to get into the fast-growing industry. Companies already on board (there are still a few spots available) include Bloom Farms, Eaze, Indus (Altai Brands), Utopia Farms, 831 Organiks, Upside Edibles and more.
Bloom Farms’ marketing manager Alexis Mora tells us that cannabis companies are looking to fill a wide variety of positions including, “budtending and purchasing, protection and security, administrative/reception and office, operational, management, advertising, sales reps, janitorial/maintenance services, delivery drivers, graphics/web design, IT/technology, marketing, social media, quality testing, product reviewers, flower trimmers, cultivation jobs, extraction scientists, accounting, legal and more.”
(Free tickets to the event for job seekers are no longer available, but $10 early bird tickets are still available and allow holders in the door at 11 a.m.)
