“We are extremely proud of the culture we have built at Organa Brands and that culture is reflected in this award,” said Organa Brands U.S. President Chris Driessen in a press release. “Since the launch of our company in 2010, we have placed a heavy emphasis on our core values. As a result, we have built an organization that is rooted in a sense of family. For all of us this is more than just a job, it’s a passion. I know I speak on behalf of our entire team when I say we are extremely honored to have been recognized as a Top Workplace.”
Organa Brands came in 32nd in a list of 70 Colorado small businesses, and was the only cannabis company listed out of a total of 150 businesses. The company is categorized as a cannabis manufacturer with 78 employees.
“Organa Brands began in 2010 with a promise to deliver extraordinary quality cannabis extractions,” The survey said. “Bringing together the best minds in the regulated cannabis market, Organa Brands operates the longest running CO2 extraction lab in the country- Organa Labs. With Organa Labs oil at the core of our products, we have seen unprecedented success as the first nationally scaled cannabis house of brands. Organa Brands is home to the biggest brands in cannabis-including: O.penVAPE, Bakked, District Edibles, and The Magic Buzz.”
Survey partner Energage based rankings on anonymous third-party surveys of company employees.
“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Energage Chief Executive Officer Doug Claffey said. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
Employees were asked for feedback on workplace culture and given an opportunity to comment on their working environment and connection with colleagues.
“Organa Brands is a place that allows you to be yourself, to turn your passion into a paycheck and, most importantly, to be part of a family that is committed to a common purpose,” an Organa Brands employee described.
“Everything. Benefits, people, pay, product. I love it all,” said another.
