Acreage Holdings appoints new executives, MJardin Group transitions talent, Cresco Labs taps HR expert, Viridian Capital and Kadenwood appoint new advisory board members.

Acreage Holdings, has hired Alfred Miranda to the position of senior vice president, chief information officer; Laurence Wolfe to the position of senior vice president, manufacturing and distribution; and has appointed Rhonda Kratz general manager in the state of Florida.

Miranda joins Acreage from MedMen Enterprises Inc., where he served as senior vice president, technology and developed an integrated and compliant seed to sale platform.

Wolfe joins Acreage from Gartner, Inc. where he was a leadership partner in supply chain advisory and consultancy. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president of operations for Heineken USA, where he was responsible for end-to-end supply chain management across the U.S.

Kratz joined Acreage in April 2019 from Nationwide Vision, where she served as senior vice president and led sales and operations for 109 stores across the nation. Prior to that, she served as chief operating officer at For Eyes.


Cannabis producer MJardin Group has appointed current Global Controller Wendy Xue to the position of interim chief financial officer, effective August 1, following the departure of current CFO Chris Seto.

Cresco Labs Inc., a vertically integrated multistate cannabis operator, has tapped Angie Demchenko to serve as the company’s first “chief people officer.” Demchenko most recently served as vice president, head of human resources at Starwood Retail Partners. In her new role, Demchenko will be responsible for performance management, recruitment, compensation, and employee benefits.

Kadenwood, LLC a newly formed seed to shelf CBD company, has appointed former Surgeon General Richard Carmona MD, MPH, FACS to its advisory board. Carmona will help the company establish best practices and aid in its efforts to work cohesively with government officials and health experts.
