The star of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” lists among his credits singer, producer, actor, personality, and entrepreneur, and has been building a presence in the legal cannabis industry. In June, he invested $5 million dollars to launch his own cannabis brand management company Willy Ray LA. There is a line of pre-rolls available under the Ray J’s brand.

Ray J, whose real name is William Raymond Norwood Jr., said on his Instagram feed about MarijuanaStock.org, “I gotta invest the money in something that keeps working. I got this new play for you—MarjuanaStock.org. All you need is $200 to secure the bag—for future earnings.”

The performer also recently announced that he will appear on the #TBTour, featuring Immature, B5, Day26, and J. Holiday. Tour dates have yet to be scheduled.

He and his sister, former “Moesha” star and Grammy Award-winning singer Brandy, are first cousins of legendary rapper and cannabis celebrity Snoop Dogg, who also is on his way to building an empire with his Leafs by Snoop brand (available in Canada) and as co-founder of cannabis venture capital firm Casa Verde Capital.

Ray J is currently married to model and entrepreneur Princess Love, his reality show co-star, who announced last month that she would not rejoin the cast of LHHH for its next season. Their baby daughter Melody was born in May 2018.

Alongside his successful mainstream career, Ray J first came to national prominence as Kim Kardashian’s then-boyfriend, featured in the infamous Kim Kardashian Superstar sex tape that helped launch the now-universally famous fashionista family member and her billionaire siblings.
