The Emerald Exchange Returns to Southern California This Weekend

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA – The fourth installation of The Emerald Exchange returns to Southern California this weekend for two days of exposure to and engagement with a select group of farmers from Northern California. Building on the success of previous Emerald Exchanges, this year’s iteration is decidedly bigger, featuring more of everything, while still promising to maintain the authenticity and sense of community that has made it a stand-out event for all members of the industry, but especially local retailers seeking to establish relationships with outdoor growers they may not have met.

The event website succinctly explains its purpose. “Emerald Exchange showcases world class, sun-grown Northern California cannabis to the Southern California cannabis community,” it states. “Artisanal, small batch cannabis cultivators and medicine makers from Northern California gather to provide both education and top-quality products in a format that encourages a mindful dialogue in a pristine environment.”

The event is broken up into four main parts:

• The Farmers Market, featuring 25+ exhibitors, including cultivators and other cannabis businesses.

• The Speaker Series, featuring 45-minute panels of industry experts speaking on subjects of relevance to the industry.

• The Wellness Village, where attendees can enjoy an assortment of sessions and workshops on holistic and other subjects.

• Food & Beverage, featuring food trucks, food vendors, and even the HERB popup restaurant by Chris Sayegh.

Anticipating a weekend that exceeds expectations, event organizers have been busy reaching out to the local community. “We’ve been offering dispensaries throughout Southern California an free access to the event since one of our primary goals is to create direct connections between them and the Northern California cultivator community,” said Michael Katz, co-founder of the Emerald Exchange and CEO of Evoxe Laboratories. “They know that when they come to the Exchange they’re going to see a showcase of the best naturally grown products, grown with the best practices, available in an in environment that encourages real engagement.”
