Like the industry it serves, MJBizCon is growing at a rapid pace and is quickly becoming the most popular event in the marijuana industry.

This week, marijuana industry leaders from across the world made it out to Las Vegas for MjBizCon, one of the premier industry events. Held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, MjBizCon treated the approximate 18,500 attendees to an informative event that featured over 675 exhibitors hailing from 38 countries.

With Nevada recently legalizing recreational marijuana in July, there was a new buzz in the air. Las Vegas is quickly becoming an epicenter for the industry as Nevada recreational sales in its first months has outpaced that of all other legalized states.

Similarly, MjBizCon’s growth is also impressive. In 2012, the show only had 400 in attendance. In five short years, MjBizCon has grown to become the largest marijuana industry event in the world.

The show’s growth seems like its paying off for the businesses in attendance.

“The show has been incredibly successful for us. It’s the first time we’ve debuted our new three brand hierarchy, incredibles, the new incredibles wellness line, and our trusted incredibles extract line,” Lilly Catherine Colley, Director of Marketing at incredibles said.

This year, there were over 110 speakers focusing on 9 different tracks. Attendees split their time between informative presentations and checking out new innovative products on the convention floor by both veterans and industry newcomers.

The over 675 exhibitors at MjBizCon provided many sights to take in.

“Typically I don’t leave my booth at a trade show because there is not that much to look at. I found that there are some interesting things and people to interact with,” at MjBizcon, according to Jonathan Valdman, Founder of Forever Flowering.

Many in attendance mentioned the incredible variety of products and businesses showcased at MjBizcon, including Berto Torres, COO at Gfarma Brands.

“This is probably one of the best shows so far. We saw a broader spectrum of different companies, people, and interests that we haven’t seen at any other show before,” Torres said.
