To assist those cannabis businesses affected by the COVID-19 crisis, Incunabulum has created the COVID-19 Advertising Support Program (CASP) which offers advertising and marketing assistance to those companies in need.

This support program has been made available by Incunabulum, LLC (Inc Media) through the coordinated support efforts of its shareholders, partners, employees, and vendors for whom we are thankful. Without this unified support effort this program would not be possible. The CASP provides a temporary reduction in advertising related expenses through “advertising credits” and provides extended payment terms without penalties or interest.  

CASP is available to qualified businesses who were actively running (B2B) advertising programs with any US-based media services provider between January 1, 2020 through March 31, 2020. This program is part of a broader commitment from Inc Media to provide support and marketing solutions to the cannabis industry in this challenging time.

Capped at a value of $1,000,000, the CASP is designed to support qualified businesses that rely on B2B advertising and marketing related services to communicate with their U.S. based customers. The CASP is subject to a qualification process and certain restrictions apply. Inc Media reserves the right to change or amend this program at any time. Qualification is based on the information provided and is subject to the sole approval if Inc Media.

Who can apply?
Any business based in the United States, formed or incorporated prior to April 1, 2019, and must certify that they are operating legally and appropriately licensed.

Do I need to be an Inc Media customer to apply for CASP?
You do not need to be an active Inc Media customer to apply for this program. 

What advertising platforms can I use with this program?
Listed below are the participating media products, which are owned and controlled by Inc Media:
Nationally distributed printed publications: mg Magazine, CBD Today
Digital products: mgretailer.com, CBDToday.com, and a variety of specialty related newsletter products. Further details and information shall be provided upon approval including: audience demographics, ad specifications, alternative B2B advertising programs, rates, advertising terms, and conditions.

What is needed to apply for CASP?
You will need to complete the CASP Application Form and provide documentation confirming proof of publication for the period of January 1, 2020 through March 31, 2020.

What is the amount of credit I will receive through the CASP program?
The CASP provides advertising credits which can cover up to 50 percent of your total advertising-related expenses for print and/or digital advertising for a three-month period, and up to 100 percent of all membership fees across the Inc Media owned business platforms noted above until December 31, 2020. The total amount of CASP advertising credit is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to company size, revenue, market sector, marketing demographics, and historic advertising related expenditures. It is important to note that this is a “advertising credit” and no cash will be provided to any Applicant. Approved businesses shall remain liable for all costs incurred or associated to the creation of advertising campaigns or artwork. CASP covers only those costs directly related to publishing. Approved businesses are required to adhere to Inc Media’s advertising policies, terms, conditions, and advertising guidelines.

Will I have to pay this money back?
No, you will not have to pay this back. This is a cashless transaction and would be itemized as a “CASP Credit” on any advertising insertion orders and invoicing.

How long is the approval process?
We understand the urgency and will do our best to process applications within ten business days from the date of submission. Incomplete applications or missing documents will result in a processing delay.
