CannaCraft Donates $40k in Product to California Medical Marijuana Patients Impacted by Fires

CannaCraft Brands California Wildfires

CannaCraft, the maker of AbsoluteXtracts and Be Kind Flower, is stepping up in a big way to help patients impacted by the California wildfires.

The California wildfires have destroyed over 2,000 homes and businesses. Thousands have had their lives disrupted. Even worse, there have already been 28 confirmed deaths linked to the fires.

As we have seen from the recent hurricanes in Florida, Texas, and Puerto Rico, people need more than just water and food after a natural disaster. Access to medication has been a significant problem, especially for elderly victims of the storms.

While some may not realize it, the situation is no different for those reliant on medical marijuana. Safe access has been compromised for many due to the fires. Patients could be without an effective way to treat pain, anxiety, and many other ailments relieved by medical marijuana use.

Thankfully, Cannacraft Brands, the company of AbsoluteXtracts and Be Kind Flower, may be able to help. The company is donating approximately $40,000 worth of medical marijuana products to patients displaced or evacuated due to the fires. Cannacraft has partnered with Mercy Wellness in Cotati, Sparc/Peace in Medicine on Dutton Avenue in Santa Rosa, Solful in Sebastopol, and Emerald Pharms in Hopland to provide patients in need with vape pens or flower.

“We are also in the process of converting office space at our Santa Rosa headquarters into a shelter area for evacuees and first responders,” Canncraft said in a statement. “We anticipate being able to house up to 80 people by the weekend.”

Cannacraft also indicated that they will keep an eye on the developing situation.

“We will continue to evaluate all of our resources including vehicles, property, facilities, equipment, and product to determine how to best serve our community during this time. We will be providing more information on these efforts as they develop.”
